Capturing the Eagle's Eye

Description

A happy accident! I happened to press the shutter at the right moment to catch the eye of a bald eagle between the open beak of a raven. Two eagles were perched on a log at the river's edge and this raven decided it looked like a good place to perch too. The raven was very "talkative" but the eagles didn't seem to mind him. There was fog hovering above the river that hadn't yet burned off in the sun. Photo taken near Eagle Beach in Juneau, Alaska, with a 400mm lens (600mm equivalent), handheld.
